Mayreli Ortiz Rodríguez holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences from the University of Havana (2006) and a Master's in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from Universitat Rovira i Virgili (2009). She is currently a lecturer (María Goyri Programme) in the Department of Chemical Engineering. She has participated in several European and national projects and has published 60 scientific articles. She has co-supervised 7 doctoral theses and 7 master's theses, as well as contributed to the training of undergraduate, vocational, and high school students. Beyond her scientific work, she is a strong advocate for science communication and education. She has actively participated in initiatives such as Repte Experimenta, Girls' Day, the European Researchers' Night and various outreach talks. Recently, she enthusiastically joined the Monday Basics project, reinforcing her commitment to knowledge dissemination and collaborative work. |
